CARIFESTA 2015

Thanks to the NCF (National Cultural Foundation) for the 1st overseas journey and showcase of hand painted pieces from the Kalinago line, at CARIFESTA 2015, held in Haiti.

Here are a couple photos of the hand painted items that made the journey.

Title: “EarthTones” All pieces are gently sun-baked. Decor and cultural conversation pieces, painted on nature’s gifts from trees found in The Caribbean. At a certain point, the trees shed durable “canoe” shaped pieces. These are collected and used as canvas. High tolerance for sunshine and light rain. Flip it over for a complementary design, and redecorate any space in seconds. Can be used as trays, jewelry holder, or as decor piece for wall.
Title: “ClayBlu”
