Inner View with Artiste & Entrepreneur, Onika Best

As part of the “CELEBRATE A SISTER” series, I’d like to introduce a Singer/Songwriter, Drummer, Tutor, Blogger, and Fashionista heralding from Africa, Bermuda and Barbados – Onika Best.

Her music is rich in message, and her voice is a unique blend of a griot’s tone, and a songstress’ soul. Onstage, she exudes a vibrant energy, and her bright smile lights up the stage whether she is performing solo, or part of a band. An established artiste in her own right, Onika happens to also be the daughter of the late ‘El Verno Del Congo,’ renowned drummer and Songwriter from Barbados, and the composer of signature song, “Welcome The Morning Sun.”
