“Barbados On The Water” Festival in Toronto ~ with Spice & Co.

Hey y’all,

how’s everyone today? I was in Toronto over the weekend, for “Barbados On The Water,” an annual 2-day open-air festival that essentially showcases all things ‘Barbadiana’ – in Toronto.

There were live bands, artistes, bajan and Caribbean cuisine, cooking demonstrations, a modeling showcase, coconut and sno-cone carts, clothing and souvenir stalls, boat rides, and lots more.

For three years so far, I’ve been a part of “Spice & Co.” – a big band from The Caribbean, and it’s the second time we’ve been invited to this festival that’s coordinated by The Consulate General of Barbados and the Barbados Tourism Marketing Inc., in partnership with Harbourfront Centre.

Here’s a video of the trip:

Stay tuned for Part 2 on: transport 🚌 food 🍛 flowers 🌸 a little traveling hiccup and a bright highlight.
