Greetings, today’s vlog shares a visit to an art studio with a beautiful view of the Jura Mountains, a drive through the vineyards of Vaud cruising past The Alps, seagulls liming by a lake and baking penne pie. This was my third trip to Switzerland but the first time seeing these mountain views and what looked like a highway of fog floating across land from morning to midday. Here’s hoping this vlog is as relaxing for you as being there was refreshing for me.
I got the chance to sit, listen and learn from an established multimedia visual artist and tutor in the village of Travers. She patiently walked me through the art of painting with watercolours while ponies and a donkey played outside and intermittent fog rolled by the Jura mountains. A few days and one penne pie later, it was a drive to Vaud where houses, cars, trams, trains and seagulls were in abundance and The Alps showed off their splendor from sunrise to sunset in the distance. Overall it was a lovely trip with lots of seemingly simple moments to be thankful for.
See you in the next post and subscribe to join the journey.
